本文从螺帽冷镦凹模的工作条件出发,研究了凹模失效状态,据此对螺帽冷镦凹模进行了含水尿素软氮化工艺试验,使Cr12MoV制凹模的使用寿命从常规处理的6万~8万件/只模提高到33万~48.5万件/只模。并在金相,电镜及离子探针定性分析的基础上对试验结果及寿命提高的机理进行了讨论,认为,由于含水尿素软氮化的渗层表面碳、氮、氧化合物的存在使其硬度和韧性提高,摩擦系数降低,从而使凹模工作面的“凹痕坑”形成和发展速度减慢,寿命得以提高。
