The German policy occupies an important position in the Soviet foreign policy after the war. It involves not only the Soviet Union’s relations with the two Germans but also the entire East-West relationship. An in-depth discussion of such a huge and complex issue is undoubtedly of great significance for us in studying contemporary international issues. To study the history of post-war Soviet German policy, we must first understand the root causes of post-war Germany. The Soviet Union, the United States and Britain conducted many bilateral and trilateral consultations on the issue of dismemberment of Germany during the war. Out of fears that the resumption of the soviet mountain in Germany, the three countries agreed in principle to the dismemberment of Germany after the war, but there were profound differences in the concrete dismemberment plan.
