At the invitation of the Ministry of Agriculture, 21 people visited the peanut delegation of the people’s organizations to the People’s Republic of China. From August 27 to August 31, 1981, they visited the Peanut Research Institute of Shandong Province and the peanuts of the relevant units in Penglai, Muping and Qufu Production and scientific research, and respectively heard the Director of Provincial Department of Agriculture Liu Yusheng, director of the provincial peanut Xu Wenjiang on the province’s peanut production and scientific research briefing. The delegation also introduced the production, processing and research of peanut in the United States. The Peanut Mission to the People’s Organization is the first peanut delegation to China for agricultural exchanges between China and the United States. The delegation is a member of the Peanut Association of Peanut Research and Education, many of whom are peanut producers.
