Melvin Love has been president of the George Watson School since August 2014, having served as president of Wymondham College in Norfolk for seven years. Melvin was previously educated at Noel Baker School in Derby, where he graduated with a BA in English Literature from the University of York in the United Kingdom and later undergraduate studies at Durham University. He started his teaching career at English Language Teaching at Oundle Boarding School in Northamptonshire. In 1993, he was director of English at Monmouth School and was promoted to teaching director in 1997 by the school. In 2001, he was named Melvin Love to Old Swinford Hospital
