机械通风所用的设备可分为两种型式：离心式通风机和轴流式通风机。离心式通风机效率高，噪音小，重量轻，产生的风压较高，适宜于地质勘探掘进巷道时机械通风的要求。然而，由于离心式通风机须在进口阐门全闭后启动（避免启动负荷过大而危及动力机的安全运转），而轴流式通风机可以全开启动。因此，地质勘探掘进巷道和采矿中机械通风设备大多采用轴流式通风机。我部勘探技术研究所曾经研制过一种型号为NR-150型的小型内燃离心式通风机。经国家鉴定后，由武汉探矿机械厂批量生产。该通风机主要用于无电源地区的150米以内斜井、平硐以及竖井和浅井等手掘巷道通风。由于该通风机所配用的4—62—3(1/2)b型风机与HD0301型汽油机已被
