This review and report of Trotter's syndrome cases, although the disease is less but has important significance, because 1. Patients often complain of the mandibular “posterior tooth pain,” 2. Early diagnosis can prevent severe facial deformity and even life-threatening . In 1911 W.Trotter has reported 14 cases of patients with nasopharyngeal tumors have very much the same triad: 1. Mandibular pain, 2. Palate asymmetry 3. Deafness and blockage. The last two symptoms usually appear first and are lighter. The chief complaint is often severe toothache. Tooth occlusion may also occur but it is more common later
