Recently observed anomalous earthquakes - deep low frequency earthquakes and tremor, very low frequency earthquakes and slow slip events - have formed a slow swarm of swarms, controlled by a calibration law different from ordinary earthquakes. According to this calibration law, we have observed previously unknown events below the Kii Peninsula in western Japan with a duration of about 20-200s and a moment magnitude of 3-4. These earthquakes radiate energy in the frequency range of 2 ~ 8Hz, which is directly proportional to the seismic moment rate. However, this proportionality constant is 4 to 5 orders of magnitude smaller than the general earthquakes. The slow earthquakes in this area may be composed of a large number of shear-slip events. Seismic methods generally present a long independent event of tremor or up to 200 s in duration, which is slow in geodetic terms Sliding event.
