我校抗美援朝的爱国运动,开展初期,也和其他学校一样,是通过了传达讨论黄市长报告,召开控诉大会,抗美援朝表决心大会,以及看『美国之音』话剧,『攻克柏林』等电影,听报告、学时事、校内外宣传等活动,很快的即在全校范围内,轰轰烈烈的开展起来。不久,学生即纷纷表示爱国志愿,有的要求批准到朝鲜去打美国,有的要求增添军训,战地服务常识乖课,也有的要求停课出外宣传。对美帝的认识,一般是「仇视,但不像对日本
