吉一玮吉一玮毕业于太原理工大学轻纺美院。他一直认为远离尘嚣才是艺术的本质,一个人思考时,想象力才能支配画布甚至生活。为了追求远离喧嚣的艺术世界,他一直尝试着用手中的画笔描绘出心中所往。他的作品大多围绕时间、生命和距离这些命题,可见其对于艺术与梦想永不停歇的追求与执着。吉一玮的画作灵感仿佛都有着变化莫测又可以无限延伸的力量。色彩褪去华丽,浓郁却压抑。他用流动的画笔勾勒出光影幻境。本期封面作品“The Jataka”(本生经)虽借用了佛教用语,实则只是试图借此引发观者对于时间与生命的多维度思考;“轮回”是在生命体验中一种永恒存在的阶段性呈现,而这种理解仅仅只可以是一个开始,对于造化的深邃和伟大,
Ji Wei Wei Wei graduated from Taiyuan University of Technology Light Textile Academy. He always thought that it is the essence of art to stay away from the hubbub, and when one thinks, imagination can dominate the canvas or even live. In pursuit of the world away from the hustle and bustle of art, he has been trying to portray his heart with his brush. Most of his works revolve around these propositions of time, life and distance, showing that his pursuit and dedication to art and dreams never stop. Ji Yi Wei’s paintings seem to have inspired unpredictable but also unlimited extension of strength. Faded color gorgeous, rich but depressing. He used a flowing brush to outline the illusion of light and shadow.
