Objective: To understand the trends and immunization status of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in children in Wanzhou Prefecture in Chongqing from 2008 to 2014, and to provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and control of HBV infection. Methods: The HBV serological markers (HBs Ag, HBs Ab, HBe Ag, HBe Ab and HBc Ab) in 42 973 children (<14 years) admitted to the pediatric department of Chongqing Three Gorges Central Hospital from 2008 to 2014 were collected. ), Using a retrospective study of the method of analysis. Results: The overall positive rate of HBsAg was 5.65% (2 428/42 973) for HBV infection, 5.80% and 5.43% for male and female, respectively (P> 0.05). The positive rate of HBs Ab was 53.69% (23 071/42 973), the ratio of HBs Ag, HBe Ag and HBc Ab were 0.99% (425/42 973), HBs Ag, HBe Ab, Hbc Ab (Positive)) was 0.55% (237/42973). The negative rate of HBV serology was 15.55% (6 681/42 973). The positive rates of HBsAg in all years from 2008 to 2014 were 4.56%, 4.39%, 1.33%, 4.92%, 5.45%, 9.70% and 5.61%, respectively. Conclusion: The HBV infection rate (HBsAg positive rate) in Chongqing Three Gorges Central Hospital from 2008 to 2014 is lower than that of general population in China in 2006-2014, but there is an increasing trend. The positive rate of HBs Ab is higher than that of HBs Ab in our country in 2006 Rate, suggesting that Chongqing Wanzhou area of HBV infection prevention and control work needs to continue to strengthen.
