今年夏季,在长江流域发生历史上罕见的特大洪灾面前,地处抗洪前线的核工业一些企事业单位,坚决贯彻党中央和江总书记的指示精神,按照地方政府的统一部署,迅速动员、组织职工积极投入抗洪抢险斗争,为保卫长江大堤和人民群众的生命财产安全,不畏艰险,日夜奋战,做出了应有的贡献。特别是领导干部和广大党员在抗洪救灾中,充分发挥率先垂范作用和先锋模范作用,用实际行动向党交了一份出色的答卷。下面刊登的这篇纪实,就是核工业职工参加抗洪抢险斗争的一个缩影。当前,我们要认真学习和贯彻江泽民总书记在全国抗洪抢险总结表彰大会的重要讲话精神,弘扬伟大的抗洪精神,加倍努力工作,确保核工业跨世纪改革和发展目标的实现。
This summer, before the extraordinary floods hit the history of the Yangtze River Basin, some enterprises and institutions in the nuclear industry at the front of flood fighting were resolutely implementing the directives of the CPC Central Committee and General Secretary Jiang and mobilizing them promptly in accordance with the unified arrangements of local governments. The workers and workers are actively involved in the struggle against floods and rescuers. They have made due contributions to defending the life and property of the Yangtze River and the masses of the people, fighting hardships and dangers and fighting day and night. In particular, leading cadres and the majority of party members have given full play to the role they played as the first example and the vanguard and exemplary role in the flood relief work, and have handed the party an excellent response paper. The documentary published below is a microcosm of nuclear industry workers participating in the flood fighting and rescue operations. At present, we must conscientiously study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Jiang Zemin’s important speech in concluding the commendation ceremony of flood control and rescue in the whole country, carry forward the great spirit of fighting flood and redouble our efforts to ensure the realization of the cross-century reform and development goals for nuclear industry.
