湖南衡阳白地市钢铁厂1996年底50m~3高炉大修,历时88天。1997年三月末复风,第一个月产铁即达2580t,创历史最好水平。这次修炉工作量最大,资金最紧,仅对少数关键项目进行了改造,冲渣水循环使用上行车就是其中之一。水渣系统改造全部面积374m~2,露天跨L=10.5m 5t双梁抓斗吊行车一名,水渣池h=-3.2m V=420m~3 可容纳3～5天水渣;布袋除尘系统瓦斯灰利用原地稍加改进砌成,此外就是水沟与集水器钢结构件等耗资不到30万元。这样取代了原来很小的渣池与旋转吊,
