凿岩爆破是露天矿和建筑工程最重要的循环工艺之一。在寻求提高生产率的途径方面,往往更强调提高炮孔钻进速度,因而可缩短爆破周期。在这方面,推行功率更大的风动和液压凿岩机和发展钻速更快的凿岩工具,尤其是柱齿钻头,已显著地缩短了凿岩时间。有效的布置孔位在确定凿岩爆破总效率和经济效益上,或许是还没有被充分认识的一个因素。
Rock blasting is one of the most important recycling processes in surface mining and construction. In seeking ways to increase productivity, the emphasis is often placed on increasing the rate at which blast holes can be drilled, thereby shortening the blasting cycle. In this regard, the introduction of more powerful pneumatic and hydraulic rock drills and the development of rock drilling tools with faster rates of drilling, particularly those with cylindrical drill bits, have significantly reduced drilling time. Effective placement of holes in determining the overall efficiency and economic benefits of rock drilling may be a factor that has not yet been fully understood.
