怀集是广东47个山区县之一.实行改革、开放政策以来,尤其是1984年广东省委、省政府把加快山区经济的发展摆上了重要的议事日程上以后,怀集县经济的发展已逐步摆脱贫困,开始进入发展的准备阶段.本文将从怀集县经济发展的现状分析出发,根据其所处的经济社会环境的变化,对其今后经济发展的战略方针及对策作一些初步的探讨.
