Objective: To observe the clinical effect of flow resin and solid resin in repairing wedge-shaped defect. Methods: A total of 100 untreated patients with wedge-shaped dental defects who were treated at Jiangmen Stomatological Hospital between January 2015 and December 2016 were randomly divided into groups according to random principles. Flowing resin was used to treat wedge-shaped defects in the observation group and solid resin was used in the control group Wedge-shaped defects were observed in two groups of patients, including clinical efficacy, periodontal conditions, bleeding gums. Results: (1) The success rate of treatment in observation group reached 90%, the success rate of control group reached 60%, the observation group was significantly higher, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). (2) Compared with the preoperation, the probing depth, attachment loss and tooth loosening degree of the two groups of patients were significantly improved (P <0.05). Compared with the control group, Periodontal pocket exploration depth (3.26 ± 0.20), attachment loss (5.00 ± 0.10), the improvement of tooth mobility is more ideal, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). (3) Compared with the control group, there was no difference in the present gingival bleeding index after the repair in the observation group. After 6 months (0.91 ± 0.63) and 24 months (0.63 ± 0.60), the gingival bleeding index was significantly smaller, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). CONCLUSION: Compared with solid resin, the use of mobile resin in the treatment of wedge-shaped defects has more ideal effect, which can effectively fill the defect area without adverse reaction to oral soft tissues.
