MicroRNAs(miRNAs)是一类特殊的、具有沉默作用的小分子RNA,它能够调控真核生物的基因表达.在植物中,miRNAs通过与靶mRNA互补配对﹑引起靶mRNA的降解或翻译阻遏的方式来起调控作用.作为一种研究果实成熟衰老的模式植物,近年来,番茄miRNAs的研究取得了很大进展.在番茄中,miRNAs几乎参与了所有的生物过程的调控:细胞发育、细胞分化、各种生物和非生物胁迫等.特别重要的是,许多miRNAs被证实参与番茄果实的成熟衰老的调控过程.研究表明,miRNAs还与宿主与病毒的相互作用有关,这使miRNAs在番茄中作为一种病毒侵染症状的生物指标提供了可能.本文系统地综述了番茄中miRNAs的研究现状并对其未来的研究方向进行了展望.
