铜仁县东南角上的漾头人民公社,处于湘黔交界的大龙山麓,全社有十一个管理区,三十二个生产大队,土地面积约一千四百余平方公里,有耕地七万四千八百九十亩,盛产粮、油、花生、茶子和汞砂、磷肥、药材、竹、麻、木材等物资。由于山岗重迭、道路崎岖,交通自古不便,虽有大小河流四条,但滩险水急,通航的仅两条,共四十四公里。解放以后,随着工农业生产的发展,交通建设事业也在迅速地向前迈进。但在人民公社未建立以前,由于力量单薄,不可能进行大规模修
