对瑞士米克朗UM600五轴加工中心分度机构的蜗轮测绘、剖析,发现原设计者出于技术保密的原因没有采用公制或英制等标准制,因此没有可以借鉴的技术标准和规范;制造时必须单独为其量身定制特殊设计蜗轮滚刀。笔者认为只要将蜗轮设计成非包络形式即斜齿轮,不但可设计、制造出成本低廉的齿轮滚刀来滚齿,而且还可以磨齿来获得高精度的蜗轮,付诸实施后获得了成功。
