模拟公司制所谓模拟公司制,就是指在公司内部设立分公司的制度。即同属一家公司的各个业务领域,能像一个独立的公司那样进行运营。这一制度的特征在于,各模拟公司的权限比以往的业务部大,并且分得一部分资金,不仅肩负提高资本收益的责任,还被赋予投入新资金的决定权。模拟公司制有以下几个优点:对模拟公司来说,可以迅速作出决定,使组织充满活力,而且负有明确的责任;对总公司来说,可以建立简洁的经营体制,培养担任未来总经理的人才,并使根据收益来分配经营资源的效率进一步提高。不过,以下两点值得注意:其一,企业的组织理论像钟摆一样以一定的周期左右摇摆,或向个体的分权,或向整体的统一摆动。现在的潮流正好倾向分权化,因此模拟公司制引人瞩目。但是如果时代发生变化,就有可能再次向统一化发展。
