To implement the spirit of “Several Opinions on Further Strengthening and Improving Ideological and Moral Construction of Young People” issued by the State Council of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, the State Administration of Radio Film and Television issued a series of documents. CCTV and various provincial and municipal TV stations have already and will be gradually launching channels for young children. This is undoubtedly a “good thing in the contemporary era and will benefit the future generations.” With the professional channels for teenagers and children, the most important thing is what programs to dedicate to nearly 400 million minors under 18 years of age. At present, if the problem of insufficient program source can not get enough attention from people and can not be solved well, it is bound to affect the survival and development of young children’s channel. In this issue, two articles, Gao Wei and Bi Laolin’s “Idea · Image · Emotions” and “Concerned Children’s Special Viewing Requirements” written by Leng Qi, are intended to arouse people’s attention and reflection on this issue. The former mentions that “the creation of children’s television programs should be the unity of the three concepts of” idea, image and emotion, “while the latter, starting from the research on the development of children’s films and television in China and abroad, called for” paying attention to the special needs of children’s viewing. “Television as a Popular and popular mass media are the most influential children’s physical and mental growth. Mr. Lu Xun said: ”From childhood, when a child grows up, he can become an adult.“ To this end, young children’s TV literary creators should learn from life, learn from children, and squat down to live on equal terms with their children. Television works of art consciously ”children as a child“. And finding out ”what is most needed now for kids?" Is the crux of the problem. Welcome to participate in discussions inside and outside the industry, enthusiastic contributions.
