Shilu Reservoir is a medium-sized reservoir project (total storage capacity of 12.9 million cubic meters) which has a quick success in our county (1958 winter). The water slope has been treated with in-situ concrete slope protection, and the backwater slope has been covered with turf. In the more than 20 years of operation, only a small amount of water seepage was found in the dam body. It was originally thought that leakage occurred on the dam slope due to the rough construction quality during dam construction.
