2016年8月20日,中国邮政发行了《长城》特种邮票,这是继《长江》《黄河》特种邮票发行之后的又一大套票。为做好该套邮票的设计,邮票设计者之一张济平教授、责任编辑沙志辉老师于2015年11月17日-24日到甘肃采风,实地考察了景泰、古浪、威武、永昌、山丹、张掖、嘉峪关等地的明长城。今年《长城》特种邮票的发行,将使长城嘉峪关第13次登上“国家名片”。嘉峪关长城古堡荣登国家名片最早为1979年6月25日,在我国发行的T.38《万里长城》小型张边纸上就有展现(图1),同年8月25日发行的J.41《里乔内第31届国际邮票
On August 20, 2016, China Post issued the “Great Wall” special stamp, which is another big ticket after the “Yangtze River” “Yellow River” special stamp was issued. In order to do a good job in the design of this set of stamps, Professor Zhang Jiping and Editor-in-Chief Sha Zhihui, one of stamp designers, took a glimpse of the wind from Gansu on November 17 and 24, 2015 and inspected Jingtai, Gulang, Weili, Yongchang and Shan Dan, Zhangye, Jiayuguan and other places of the Great Wall.
