硅钙肥含有硅(20%)、钙(30%)、镁(5%)、硫(1%)四种中量元素及铁、锰、锌、铜等微量元素,还含有钛、稀土等有益元素。硅钙肥是近期从日本引进的生产工艺,是其他肥料不可替代的新肥源。金乡县素有中国蒜都的美誉。大蒜种植面积3.33万hm~2,年产大蒜60万t,出口70多个国家和地区。随着大蒜面积的扩大,大蒜种植常年连作,全县约有4 000hm~2发生烂根黄叶病,致使大蒜产量受到很大影响。为了摸清硅钙肥在大蒜上的防病增产效果,于2001年9月在鱼山、羊山、吉黍、胡集4个乡镇安排了硅钙肥试验。
