豫东太康县逊母口镇月风村身高1米98、体重达120公斤的13岁女孩儿张喜莲,日前被湖北省女子篮球队吸收为队员。 张喜莲10岁时身高达1米80。父亲曾送她到河南省体工大队接受训练,后回家治病。之后,湖北省体工一大队决定将张喜莲收入湖北省女子篮球队,并将其农村户口转为武汉市户口,其待遇也与其他队员同等。小喜莲父女俩现已被接至武汉。 湖北省体工一大队已与张喜莲父女签订协议,协定张喜莲将在湖北队参加训练、比赛15年。
