On May 22, Microsoft announced that the Microsoft Windows Azure public cloud platform and services operated by 21Vianet will be officially launched in China. The public preview (www.windowsazure.cn) will be officially launched on June 6. Microsoft Windows Azure is operated by 21Vianet and both are designed to work together to create a truly world-class public cloud service. According to the agreement between both parties, Microsoft will provide Windows Azure public cloud platform to Century Internet, and Century Link will operate Windows Azure platform and provide users with services including computing, storage, database, integration, network and other services
