中国古代诗学是一种泛接受美学，自始至终跃动着一种强烈的读者意识。它既关于作品的本文论，又关于作品的生成论，还关于作品的接受论。其中“空纳万境，白多余韵”的空白意识，“知音如不赏，归卧故山秋”的知音意识，“入乎其内，出乎其外”的自得意识，便构成了颇具中国特色的审美接受意蕴。
