拿到《巢湖文论选》校样,翻开目录就颇感惊诧。几年前就听巢湖市文艺评论家协会的同志说,他们在编一本文论选。当时我脑中闪现出几种不同的编选思路,就是没想到现在的结构形态。它不是近年巢湖籍作者撰写的优秀文艺评论文章的汇编,也不是1949年以来巢湖文艺评论家代表作的选辑,而是选编了自唐代刘禹锡以来历代巢湖籍名家或在巢湖为官和游历巢湖的名人留下的精彩文字和书画作品,包括古代大家的原作及今人的赏析
