初中学生有着求新立异的愿望,敢想、敢说、敢做、敢创。在日常教学中,我从初中生的学习心理特点出发,因势利导,把课堂变成吸引孩子们向往的乐园,让英语课堂“活”起来。一、在游戏中“活”起来英语课堂游戏教学法以交际法为主要原则,在PEP教材第一册Unit 2中,学习了有关脸部的几个单词:eye,nose,mouth,ear,head。我领读了几遍后,又让学生读,当学生开始出现怠倦情绪时,我就说:“OK,boys and girls,let’s play a game.I have some picture.They are about our heads,and the words we have learned”然后就讲清楚了游戏规则:把这些图片贴在黑板上,每一组各选一位代表上来,我说“Touchthe head!”谁先用手拍到这个单词的图片,谁就可以为本组获得一分。这样一来既活跃了课堂气氛,又使学生掌握
