腾迎年,家住北京朝阳区,今年快53岁了。1岁多的时候患小儿麻痹而致右腿残疾,因为残疾,当年他未能如大学愿;同样是因为残疾,当年在招工时他数次错过良机。自1983年接触剪纸等工艺品制作后,他深深地迷上了,从此一发不可收拾,在随后的二十多年里,他克服各种困难,从剪纸到纺染,不断创新,项果累累,先后荣获第三届全国残疾人职业技能竞赛第二名等大奖,作品被多家知名媒体刊发。
Teng Ying-year, who lives in Chaoyang District, Beijing, 53 years old this year. 1 year old suffering from poliomyelitis and paralysis caused by right leg disability, because of disability, when he failed to university like the same; also because of disability, when he was recruiting a few missed opportunities. After being exposed to paper-cut handicrafts such as paper making in 1983, he became so fascinated that he was out of control. In the ensuing two decades, he overcame various difficulties, from paper-cutting to spinning and dyeing, and constantly innovating. He has won many prizes such as the second place in the Third National Disabled Persons Skill Contest and his works have been published by many well-known media.
