陕甘宁边区政府成立后,边区政府创造性地把发展教育事业摆在了各项工作的突出位置,在坚持马克思主义基本教育理念的基础上,以唯物史观为指导,从边区的实际出发,积极推行教育改革,着力将教育事业与抗战实际、边区建设及人民生活紧密结合,逐步摸索形成了一套以“学用一致”思想为指导的振兴教育的方法和策略,不断指导着边区各类教学实践,改变了边区的教育状况,解放了人民的思想,支援了抗战与边区的生产建设,使边区教育事业走出了困境。“学用一致”的思想和实践对当前我国的教育改革具有很大的启发作用。
