金脉爵床,又名金叶木,为爵床科金叶木属植物。原产美洲热带,近年来在我国南方引进、栽植发展很快。直立灌木,多分枝;对生叶长卵形,几乎无柄,叶色深绿,叶脉金黄;花期夏季,花型管状,黄色红苞。性喜高温,怕寒冷,适合在疏松、肥沃、保湿、透气性好的土壤中栽种。其生长温区为15～30℃,环境湿度应不低于60％。
