一个国家的平面设计在一定程度上包括一个国家的政治、经济、文化、民族精神等各个方面。在国人享受高度发展的科学技术所带来的物质文明的同时,也感受到了文化的强势正在扑面而来。不同国家的文化在世界舞台上相互交融。西方的价值观、生活方式、思维习惯、文化习俗这方面开始进入到我们生活的各个领域,这导致了在当前中国的平面设计领域出现了两种不同的观点,一种观点认为西方的现代设计是先进的,要对于西方的现代设计技术进行分析和使用;另一方面则认为,中国的传统文化应当作为平面设计的主体,因为中国的传统文化是符合民族意识、民族审美的。这两种极端的思想都为平面设计的工作者带来了思想上的困惑,而如何去进一步的分析平面设计的现代性和民族性成为我们当前所需要思考的问题。因此本文将结合民族文化的传承与现代文化的把握来进一步分析平面设计当中的民族性和现代性。
To a certain extent, the graphic design of a country includes all aspects of a country’s politics, economy, culture and national spirit. While enjoying the material civilization brought by highly developed science and technology, people also feel the strength of culture is blowing. The cultures of different countries blend with each other on the world stage. Western values, lifestyles, habits of thought, and cultural practices are beginning to enter every area of our lives, leading to two different perspectives in the field of graphic design in China today. One view is that Western modern design is Advanced, it is necessary to analyze and use Western modern design techniques; on the other hand, China’s traditional culture should be regarded as the main body of graphic design because Chinese traditional culture accords with national consciousness and national aesthetic. Both of these extremes have brought ideological confusion to graphic design workers. How to further analyze the modernity and nationality of graphic design is what we need to think about now. Therefore, this article will further analyze the nationality and the modernity in graphic design by combining the inheritance of national culture and the mastery of modern culture.
