On October 15, 1984, Chinese-American writer Jiang Nan (formerly Liu Yiliang) was assassinated in his residential garage in Deli City, San Francisco. As news came, all sectors of our country were shocked and deeply indignant and expressed their condolences for the tragic death of Jiangnan. Jiangnan, 52, a native of Jingjiang, Jiangsu Province, studied at his hometown in his childhood.
