经济学是致用之学。致用之意有二,一是研究目的要有效地为发展经济的社会补实践服务,这就要求经济研究必须在方法与思想等方面都不断发展,同时在理论与对策方面形成自身的体系和特点,二是研究的前提应该是人类创造财富的社会实践,这就要求经济研究立足于服务于具体真实的社会实践,前者要求经济研究必须与时俱进,形成更加科学完善的理论体系,后者要求经济研究必须与实俱进,解决经济研究中的现实难题。所以,经济研究必须坚持与时俱进和与实俱进的结合,以动态地体现自身的致用性质与特点。
