在北京东单西凤楼胡同,屹立着一座典雅秀丽的三层楼房,名曰:“俊园”。这座建筑的主人就是著名爱国华侨陈水俊先生,“俊园”取陈水俊先生的“俊”字,同时又可理解成建筑俊秀、俊美之意。“俊园”建成,成了我国第一个民间基金会,即振兴中华教育科学基金会的会址。几年来,有许多出国留学生、访问学者,以及主要科研项目都从这里得到资助;有许多楼舍的建筑从这里得到捐献,
