广西被誉为有色金属之乡,目前境内有大小矿山4600多座。为了发展绿色矿业,构建资源节约型、环境友好型和谐社会,不久前,广西出台了《广西壮族自治区绿色和谐矿山建设规划(2011~2020年)》(以下简称《规划》)。绿色发展是必然选择《规划》出台有一些现实考虑,广西属于西部后发展地区,当前正处于工业化、城镇化加快发展的关键阶段,资源需求刚性上升,资源环境压力日益增大,资源开发和矿业发展面临着新的形势和要求。
