予白桃(原名脆白实生,代号5-5)系河南农学院于1963年由脆白和蟠桃杂交育成。 1971-1975年由郑州果树研究所和郑州食品厂连续5年进行小量的罐藏试验,被认为是一个有希望的优良罐藏白桃品种。 1973年8月在郑州食品厂召开的郑州郊区桃子罐藏品种鉴定会和同年9月在周口召开的河南省罐藏品种鉴定会上,其罐藏样品均被评为1类。1974年10月,在我国北方桃子罐藏品种选育座谈会上,由中国农科院果树所郑州分所、江西食品发酵所、周口罐头厂、郑州食品厂
