一般说来,每一种语言要有三部分组成:语音、语法和词汇,就好像搞建筑一样,词汇是高大建筑物的一块块砖、语法是构成建筑物的框架、语音就是这些砖瓦和建筑物的名称,三者当中词汇是基础,是非常重要的根基,没有词汇就谈不上语言。而在当今新形势下的教学,不能再仅仅局限于死记硬背新单词而应是掌握大量的词汇,在纯知识教学中注重人的发展。结合多年的教学实践和新形势下学生的特点,笔者认为在新形势下的英语教学应该从以下几个方面进行:
