文人开始大量为商人撰写传记、墓志、寿序等请托应酬之文,是明代文学领域的新现象。笔者通过检阅《四库全书》《续修四库全书》《四库全书存目丛书》三部丛书中明中期的文集,共检索到商人作传作者50位,为商人作传160篇1。相对于其他文学作品,文集商人传记的大量出现,是明代文学商品化进一步加深的典型代表。原因有二,第一,由于承袭了史传“彰善瘅恶”2的传统,相对于其他文体来说,传记是不宜被商品化的;第二,商人地位不高,文
Literati began to write a large number of businessmen, biography, epitaph, life and other entertainment please call the text, is a new phenomenon in the Ming Dynasty literature. Through the review of Sikuquanshu, Sikuquansu, Sikuquanshujujiu, the mid-Ming anthologies of the three books, we retrieved 50 merchants and 160 merchants. Compared with other literary works, the large number of biographies of businessmen in the literary collection is a typical representative of further commodification of literature in the Ming Dynasty. There are two reasons for this. First, traditional biographical traditions should not be commercialized relative to other genres because of the traditions of historical biography and “Changsheng evil”. Second, the status of businessmen is not high.
