《情报杂志》创刊已整整10年了,创办伊始,她在神州刊林之中,是小草,是嫩苗,是幼枝,经过10年的风风、日日、雨雨,她终于生长成木。不过,还只是小树罢了。在科学的春天里,柔风醉人,细雨爽心,各门学科在崛起,各种期刊,犹雨后春笋。情报学这株幼芽,也勃勃生机,挤进了由百家学科组成的丛花园里。《情报杂志》继《情报科学》和《情报学刊》之后,呱呱坠地,从而为情报科学园地,增添了一点自己的特色。情报理论、情报方法……,别的情报学术刊物有,《情报杂志》照样有;情报战、情报文学、情报艺术……,别的情报刊物没有,但《情报杂志》却有。情报心理学和情报人物等内容,还是《情报杂志》独家“鸣锣开道”出来的呢。这些都不能不说是她的个性,是她突出的特色。
