我叫胆囊,有人误以为我的大小决定主人胆量的大小,因此有“胆大心细”、“恶从胆边生”等等说法,其实这是无稽之谈,我真正的工作是帮助消化。我的外形似一个梨状的弹性口袋,和胆道系统相连,住在肝右下方。胆汁不是我的产物.而是肝脏分泌,经胆囊管送到我的袋内贮存起来的,我负责将其浓缩4～10倍,从而增加贮存的效能。人若吃了脂肪类食物,我就赶快收缩,将胆汁挤压到胆总管,再进入十二指肠内帮助消化。
