随着改革开放和社会主义市场经济的发展,城市化进程的加快,我国各地城市迅速增容,城市功能不断完善,新形势下的城市管理成为人们关注的新问题。2003年11月7日,北京政协第25次驻会领导办公会讨论成立首都社会治安综合治理工作民主监督小组,充分发挥政协的民主监督职能。小组成立之后,及时向首都综治办通报情况,受到了首都综合治理办公室的欢迎,他们认为,北京市政协人才济济,对治安综合治理进行民主监督,为首都社会治安综合治理工作出谋划策,对维护首都的稳定和繁荣意义重大。
With the development of the reform and opening up and the socialist market economy and the acceleration of urbanization, the cities in our country have been rapidly expanding in capacity and urban functions have been continuously improved. Urban management in the new situation has become a new issue of concern. On November 7, 2003, the 25th Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC hosted the leadership meeting to discuss the establishment of a democratic supervision team for the comprehensive management of public order in the capital and give full play to the democratic supervision function of the CPPCC. After the establishment of the group, timely reports to the Beijing Comprehensive Management Office were welcomed by the Capital Office of Comprehensive Governance. They believed that Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC has the talent and assistance to carry out democratic supervision over the comprehensive management of public order and make suggestions for the comprehensive management of public order in the capital. The stability and prosperity of the capital are of great significance.
