增龄对唾液腺功能有何影响,当无定论,值得探讨。本研究旨在评价不同年龄男女腮腺在非刺激和刺激条件下唾液流率。受检者男46人,女39人,年龄从23~81岁,88%受检者口腔至少有20颗天然牙齿。所有受检者都在到达Baltimore国立老年医学研究中心后第二天早晨由专人收集唾液。在上午8∶00点钟开始收集唾液者,头天半夜起禁食任何东西;在10∶00点起者,从8∶15开始禁食。把改良的Carlson-Crittenden杯固定在右颊腮腺导管开口处。先收集20分钟的非刺激唾液,唾液流入放置在冰上的锥形塑料
How aging affects salivary gland function, when inconclusive, is worth exploring. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the salivary flow rate in the parotid gland of men and women of different ages under non-stimulatory and stimulatory conditions. Subjects, 46 men and 39 women, aged from 23 to 81 years old, 88% of the subjects had at least 20 oral natural oral teeth. All subjects received saliva by hand the next morning after arriving at the Baltimore National Institute of Geriatrics. Those who started to collect saliva at 8:00 am start fasting for nothing until midnight; at 10:00 am start fasting from 8:15 am.
