高职英语专业的综合英语是一门综合性基础课,涵盖听、说、读、写、译等英语技能的培养,课程内容丰富,覆盖面广,是英语专业学生学习其他专业课程的根基。这对教师的教学提出挑战:有限的教学时间内不可能面面俱到,如何体现其实用性,让学生吸收应用性强的精华,提高学生的整体语言应用能力,从而满足日后就业的需要?鉴于此,通过调查高职英语专业学生的职业需求,根据反馈发现其学习需要,尝试探索一定程度上更适合学生的教学方法及教学内容,让学生具备较为扎实的专业基础,提高就业能力。
Comprehensive English for Higher Vocational English Majors is a comprehensive basic course covering the cultivation of English skills such as listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. The curriculum is rich in content and wide in coverage, and is the foundation for English majors to study other specialized courses. This poses a challenge to the teaching of teachers: limited teaching time can not be exhaustive, how to reflect its practicality, to enable students to absorb the essence of applied strong and improve students’ overall language ability to meet the needs of future employment? In view of this, By investigating the professional needs of English majors in higher vocational schools, we find out their learning needs based on feedback and try to explore teaching methods and contents that are more suitable for students to a certain extent, so that students can have a solid foundation and improve their employability.
