黄崖洞风景区,地处晋、冀、豫三省交界区,位于黎城县北境,方圆14平方公里,海拔1500至2000米之间,全年平均最高气温27度左右,因一翼南向的黄崖石壁中有一天然石洞而得名,它是一处集自然风光与革命史迹于一体的风景名胜区,现为全国爱国主义教育示范基地、全国重点文物保护单位、全国红色旅游经典景区、国家森林公园、国家AAAA级景区、全国军工文化教育基地、山西省重点风景名胜区。2015年8月国务院公布为第二批国家级抗战纪念设施、遗址地。
