In early 1989, I started my career abroad. Since then, the impression is still profound is that in North America at the other end of the oceans, the richness of social information (which can also be referred to as flooding) and the ideological point of view (which can also be interpreted as pluralism). Here I would like to introduce to my friends in my country one after another the opinions of scholars from all over the world (including overseas Chinese living in China) about the twentieth century and the forthcoming twenty-first century in history , All of which have been listed under the two headings of “Century Review” and “Century Outlook” respectively since the nineties, especially in the last year or two. The readers will find that these opinions are very different from each other Nor is it the truth of the two major topics, nor even conclusive. However, most of them are based on academic researches or years of life experience of the authors, not the kind of instant improvisation Pieces, editors hope, is inspired by readers of the relevant ideas, at least you can draw attention to the existence of such or that opinion. The sound of rain and rain sounds like a book, and it rants to my ears. I expect that this fine tradition of young Chinese scholars has not been forgotten by our generation because of the passing of time. I even hope that the voice of the ear can grow through our growth Psyche thinking and analysis, and then turned into valuable spiritual wealth.
