湖北省化肥厂是我国从美国和荷兰引进的大型化肥装置,其特点是工艺流程新,设备精度高;技术先进,自动化水平高;具有七十年代现代化的生产水平。整个装置的工艺管道、设备、仪表对建(构)筑物的基础的绝对沉降及差异沉降要求较严。该厂厂址位于湖北省枝江县,厂区为胀缩土,为了确保安全生产,我们在当时国内无规范遵循,无类似建厂先例的情况下做了以下几项工作: (1)进行了调查研究,及时地提出了勘察要求,配合了地质勘察工作。 (2)分析了装置和建(构)筑物的特点,调查了该地区的建筑物地基处理的经验,提出了胀缩土地基设计措施,通过指挥部召开的胀缩土地基处理会议定了案。
