中国科技报界在改革的潮流中,着重抓了经营管理工作。中国科技报研究会先后召开了两次全国科技报经营管理工作经验交流会。其中已有不少家科技报实现了自收自支,达到了自给有余。大家在实践中已认识到,要实现经济自立,事业单位企业管理,必须开展多种经营活动。目前,科技报的经营管理工作已进入了蓬勃发展的新时期。主要表现在以下三个方面: 开创了“以报为主,多种经营”的新局面。许多科技报的同志都认识到,在当前报刊林立的情况下,必须增强竞争意识,摆脱对国家的依赖性,实现经济自立。这是大势所趋。这就要求报社要千方百计地创造条件,开展多种经营,搞好为读者服务事业。不如此,科技报就难以发展,甚至不能生存。在科技报界中的
