2003年8月下旬至9月初,泰安市大汶河流域连降暴雨。9月5日6时,大汶河琵琶山拦河坝北段处发生滚河,洪水直冲右岸滩地,严重危及堤防安全,随时有决口的危险。下游10万群众的生命财产安全面临洪水的严重威胁。灾情发生后,省、市领导同志在第一时间赶赴抗洪抢险一线,精心组织,靠前指挥。经过党员干部、部队官兵、黄河抢险机动队和广大人民群众4个昼夜的连续奋战、顽强拼搏,创造了险情迅速得到控制、未伤亡一人的奇迹。
From late August to early September 2003, Dawen River Basin in Tai’an continued to hit heavy rains. At 6:00 on September 5, there was a river rolling at the north section of the Pipa Shan Barrage in Dawenhe River. The flood washed straight to the beach on the right bank, seriously threatening the safety of the embankment and threatening to break the line at any time. The life and property safety of the 100,000 downstream people faces a serious flood threat. After the disaster occurred, provincial and municipal leading comrades rushed to the front line of flood fighting and rescue in the first place, carefully organizing and prior command. After four consecutive day and night fighting among party members and cadres, army officers and soldiers, the Yellow River rescue team and the masses of the people, they worked hard and created a miracle in which the danger was quickly brought under control without any casualties.
