新疆西天山与斑岩铜矿有关的北达巴特岩体,是一次岩浆侵入作用的产物,可划分为3个岩相:中心相、过渡相及边缘相.中心相为二长花岗斑岩,过渡相为流纹质碎斑熔岩,边缘相为流纹质熔结角砾岩和熔结凝灰岩.北达巴特岩体的岩石稀土配分模式呈不对称“V”字型曲线,表明它经历了一定的岩浆分异演化.但其过渡相和边缘相的岩石稀土配分模式因受岩浆同化混染作用,与中心相相比存在显著的差异.其铜、钼、银、钨、锡、铋、锑、砷含量相对较高.在北达巴特岩体蚀变较弱的岩石表现为相对富钠质,即Na2O>K2O;但蚀变较强的岩石却表现为相对富钾质,即K2O>Na2O.
